At Cardinal Way Midwifery, we provide home birth and wellness care to families within a 60-minute drive from our office in McKinney, Texas. This service area ensures that we can be readily available to support you—especially during labor and birth, when time and access matter most.

We’ve created a drive-time map to help you determine whether you’re within our current service range. This map reflects real-world travel times to ensure safe, timely access to your home when it counts.

✨ Please note: While the hour drive time may extend into a small portion of Oklahoma, we do not currently serve clients in Oklahoma due to licensing restrictions.

Why Accessibility Matters

Midwifery care is rooted in presence, preparedness, and trust. We intentionally limit our service area so that:

• You feel confident knowing your midwife is close by.

• We can deliver the highest standard of attentive, unrushed care—without the stress of distance or delay.

This approach supports the physiological process of birth, which unfolds best when uninterrupted, safe, and well-supported. In the rare case that medical intervention is needed, our proximity allows for clear communication, seamless care coordination, and swift action—always with your mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing in mind.
